Your CRM — starting from everyday sales

Question 1 of 4

First things first — who do you sell to? This decides which record types your CRM is built around.

Question 2 of 4

Next: leads. A lead is an unvetted name — a form fill, a referral, a list — that you qualify BEFORE it's worth a deal. Some teams want that holding pen; others put every new name straight into the pipeline.

Question 3 of 4

How do your deals move — does every deal go through the same stages, or do different kinds of deals move differently?

Question 4 of 4

Last one — what does your team call the thing you're closing? Whatever you pick is the word your whole CRM will use: tabs, buttons, reports, everywhere.
